Parker HOPE is a one-day-per-week outreach program (Friday's) for the
K-12 home schooled students living primarily in Elbert and Douglas
counties.
We offer classroom instruction by licensed teachers and additional
curriculum at no charge.
In our 4th year, the Parker HOPE School will meet at Pinecrest
Community Church, at the intersection of Singing Hills and Delbert Roads for
school year 2005-2006.
We are registering NOW for the upcoming school year. Our elementary
courses include Math, Language Arts, Phoneme Sequencing, Orff Music &
Movement and Colorado History; our Middle School subjects include Language
Arts, Math, Science and Spanish, and our High School selections include
Spanish, Algebra I and II, Geometry, Physical Science, Energy, Biology,
Meteorology & Oceanography, Physics, and Language Arts Choices.
We honor the values of parents who choose to educate their children at
home. Our program works because we are an outreach service of the APS
Options School and we receive a portion of that public school funding.
Benefits of participating in Parker HOPE include Classroom Instruction,
Additional Curriculum for Checkout , Organizational and Planning
Resources for your Home School,Optional Standardized Testing, Record Keeping,
Academic Counseling, Testing and Evaluation Conferences, Transcripts
and Diplomas.
